Lixhou Square in Pujiang

Located in the center of Pujiang County. At an elevation of 93 meters, the park covers a total area of 66,000 square meters. Winding paths lead up from the foot of the hill through secluded, serene surroundings with ancient towering trees, birdsong, fragrant flowers, and lush greenery, offering a beautiful natural environment. The ancient pagoda, ancient camphor tree, and ancient chinkapin are known as the “Three Treasures” of the park. It features China’s first fairy-tale statue, “Ma Liang and His Magic Brush,” as well as calligraphy couplets by renowned calligraphers Sha Menghai and Shu Tong, and inscriptions and plaques by famous writers Bing Xin and Hong Xuntao, making it rich in cultural heritage. The park is divided into six functional areas: Children’s Park, Pagoda Shadow Garden, Fang Zengxian Calligraphy and Painting Stele Carving Courtyard, Martyrs’ Group Statue, Ancient Pagoda Morning Exercise Area, and Park Nursery. Tashan Park has become a multifunctional park integrating entertainment, morning exercise, and sightseeing, where visitors find it hard to tear themselves away.
