The Xicheng Yunshui Mountain Villa Resort is a distinctive scenic area located in the southwestern suburbs of Lanxi. It serves as a comprehensive cultural demonstration base integrating cultural exchange, artistic research and creation, leisure entertainment, and tourism vacationing. Situated 6 kilometers from the city center, it lies nestled against mountains and overlooking water, facing south with its back to the north, offering distant views of the Xianxia Mountain Range and close sights of the Qu River. The resort covers an area of 1,500 square meters and features the Tang Dynasty Buddhist "Tathagata Treasure Hall," which houses tens of thousands of wooden, brick, and stone carvings from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. Other amenities include a 500-square-meter Ming and Qing architectural complex “Xiuye Painting and Calligraphy,” a bamboo and wood dining hall that accommodates 100 people, and an open-air barbecue square that can host over 300 people. The second phase of construction will include 30 small wooden cottages modeled after Ming and Qing architecture, a medium-sized conference room, a water recreation center, a fishing center, and an outdoor physical training base.
