The Wulong Gorge Scenic Area integrates tourism, leisure, and wellness, making it one of the most fully featured scenic spots in our province. With its brand-new concept of plateau canyon tourism, which perfectly combines natural landscapes with cultural elements, it is set to become a focal point for mass tourism both within and outside the province. The scenic area will adopt an overall layout structure of “one core and eight zones,” consisting of 158 scenic spots. Among them, the “one core” refers to the Guanyin Lake Tourist Reception Center; the “eight zones” are the Dongtian Feipu Platform Waterfall Viewing Zone, Xianyakeng Mountain Wellness and Entertainment Zone, Tiediantan Water Sports and Recreation Zone, Wusheng Taizu Temple Pilgrimage Zone, Chengli Mountain Cultural Experience Zone, Qianzhangyan Wonder Viewing Zone, Immortal Bridge Canyon Adventure Zone, and Louxiayong Leisure and Wellness Zone. Additionally, five major scenic spots—Die Shui Teng Long (Falling Water Soaring Dragon), Dongtian Fei Long (Cave Heaven Flying Dragon), Lian Tian Pan Long (Coiling Sky Dragon), Qianzhang Yue Long (Thousand-Zhang Leaping Dragon), and Xianya Wo Long (Reclining Dragon of Xianya)—together convey the essence of dragon culture; another cluster including Fu Temple, Lu Temple, Shou Temple, Xuanwu Mountain, and Shouxing Cliff embodies the cultures of Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism; while the Eight Trigrams Water Feature, Fengshui Gate, Taiji Pool, and the existing Long Corridor together represent the culture of the I Ching and feng shui. The Wulong Gorge Scenic Area is a comprehensive tourist destination that brings together eight major functions: waterfall viewing, rafting, mountain climbing, pilgrimage, water recreation, water play, valley exploration, and extreme challenges. It is about to unveil its mysterious veil and warmly welcome guests from home and abroad.
