The Liushi Tian Natural Broadleaf Forest Area is located in Yuantang Forest District of Yuantang Forest Farm, Pan’an County, covering an area of 6,395 mu. It boasts one of the province’s rarest, largest, and most well-preserved tracts of natural broadleaf forest, earning it the titles of a “biological gene bank” and a “cultural museum” of natural forest plants. With a forest coverage rate of 93.25%, the area features lush and thriving forest vegetation, abundant wildlife resources, stunning mountain pools, streams, and waterfalls, as well as uniquely majestic peaks, cliffs, and valleys. It serves as an ideal destination for scientific research, field studies, sightseeing, summer retreats, leisure, and vacation. Notably, the broadleaf forest here is over 100 years old and is home to more than 50 rare tree species and over 30 species of wild animals under national and provincial protection.
