Qingmei Jian Forest Leisure Area

Qingmei Jian Forest Leisure Area is situated in the Huangtan Forest Farm of Pan’an County, with an average elevation of 1,000 meters. Its main peak, Qingmei Jian, reaches 1,314 meters above sea level (symbolizing “one lifetime, one love”). It lies at the intersection of Taizhou, Lishui, and Jinhua prefectures, and is known as the place “where one foot touches three prefectures.” The area covers a total of 13,199 mu, with a forest stock volume of over 70,000 cubic meters and a forest coverage rate of 94.1%. It boasts the largest preserved natural alder forest in East China, along with various types of wetland resources. It is also the main source of the Haoxi River in the Oujiang River system and the Yong’anxi River in the Lingjiang River system. The region enjoys fresh air, pristine water quality, and a pleasant climate. With diverse seasonal forest colors and abundant forest landscape and wildlife resources, it is a well-known leisure and summer retreat destination in Zhejiang Province.
