Lingjiangyuan Forest Park is situated in the northern part of Weixin Township, Pan’an County, at an average elevation of 800 meters. It enjoys fresh air, a pleasant climate, beautiful scenery, and a forest coverage rate exceeding 90%. The park showcases “unique and beautiful canyon landscapes, majestic and steep cliffside plank roads, thrilling waterfall climbs, rare and unique tree species, as well as secluded mountain villages with natural simplicity.” There are small bridges, flowing streams, and traditional houses, all embraced by surrounding mountains, with peaks often shrouded in mist — a scene that feels like stepping into a hidden paradise.

Nestled within an ancient village, it lies about 35 kilometers from Pan’an County town. The core area spans approximately 2,000 acres, extending east to Libiyan Natural Village, south to the entrance of Wangdakeng Village, north to the northern side of Lingfeng Tianchi, and west to the ruins of Xitian Temple. Far from the hustle and bustle of urban areas and without a foundation in secondary or tertiary industries, the village is well-known for its high-mountain vegetables and bamboo-shoot forests. When visiting, don’t miss the local farmhouse bamboo shoot feast.

Lingjiangyuan Forest Park is rich in forestry and water resources. The area is covered with dense vegetation, numerous waterfalls, and murmuring streams, endowing it with the natural hues of “dense peaks, sheer cliffs, ancient serenity, abundant waterfalls, and crystal-clear waters.” Hiking up the stream to its source and bending down to take a sip of the natural water offers a cool and sweet taste — an experience no bottled mineral water can provide.
