Jinhua Pan'an Lingjiangyuan Forest Park · Glass Walkway
Adjacent to an exposed cliff face, the walkway features transparent flooring and glass railings, along with a glass viewing platform that offers scenic views of the beautiful landscape below. The walkway is only 25 meters long and can be traversed in just about forty to fifty steps.
Lingjiangyuan Forest Park is situated in the northern part of Weixin Township, Pan'an County, at an average elevation of 800 meters. It boasts fresh air, a pleasant climate, and picturesque surroundings, with forest coverage exceeding 90%. The area features "striking canyon landscapes, uniquely beautiful cliffs, thrilling waterfall climbs, rare tree species, and tranquil mountain villages." With small bridges, flowing streams, traditional houses, and surrounded by mountains, the area offers a unique scene where clouds linger atop peaks — like stepping into a paradise on earth.
Nestled within an ancient village, it lies about 35 kilometers from Pan'an County. The park's core area spans approximately 2,000 acres, extending east to Libiyan Natural Village, south to the entrance of Wangdakeng Village, north to the northern side of Lingfeng Tianchi, and west to the ruins of Xitian Temple. The village is far from the hustle and bustle of urban life, lacks secondary or tertiary industries, but is well-known for its high-mountain vegetables and bamboo–shoot dual-use forests. When visiting, don’t miss the bamboo shoot feast offered at the local farmhouse inns.
Lingjiangyuan Forest Park is rich in forestry and water resources. The area is covered in dense vegetation, dotted with waterfalls, and home to murmuring streams. Nature has endowed it with the features of “dense peaks, sheer cliffs, ancient serenity, abundant waterfalls, and clear waters.” Hiking up the stream to its source and taking a sip of the natural water offers a cool, sweet taste — an experience no bottled mineral water can replicate.
