Tomb of Kong Ruojun

The Tomb of Kong Ruojun is a cultural heritage site protected by Pan’an County.

The Tomb of Kong Ruojun dates back to the Southern Song Dynasty and is located in Juxi Village, Panfeng Township.

In December 2018, the Tomb of Kong Ruojun was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Pan’an County.

Juxi Village: Known historically as Juchuan, this ancient place was also called Guichuan or Xianglu Port, but today is named Juxi. It is a stream originating from the mountains and flowing back into them in the mountainous region of central Zhejiang. Juxi Village is a natural settlement nestled in the mountains. Since an ancestor of the Kong family settled by the stream eight hundred years ago, the village has thrived and grown into a large community of over 1,500 residents. Juxi Village falls under the administration of Panfeng Township, Pan’an County. This area was historically part of Wuzhou (now Jinhua City). The “Kong Family Ancestral Hall” in the village, along with all the villagers bearing the Kong surname, are descendants of the “Southern Kong Clan of Wuzhou” — direct descendants of Confucius. They share the same lineage as the “Confucius Temple” and the Kong family in Qufu, Shandong.
