Great Wall Park in Yiwu City is a cultural tourism attraction and a patriotic education base.

Great Wall Park in Yiwu City, also known as the Yiwu Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery, is located opposite Kongcun on Huancheng South Road in Yiwu. Built in 2001, it covers an area of 168 mu with a total investment of 15 million yuan. The overall layout is divided into four areas: the Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument, administrative offices, parking lots, and leisure sightseeing. The cemetery is predominantly hilly, featuring undulating terrain with rich geographical variations. Its highest elevation is 172.3 meters, and the climate is mild and humid, which supports lush tree growth. The cemetery is managed by dedicated personnel with a comprehensive management system in place. Funding for management staff and the regular maintenance of the park is provided by the government.

The site remains open year-round for patriotic education activities and has become a designated patriotic education base for government agencies, enterprises, social organizations, and schools. On holidays such as Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, and Martyrs' Memorial Day, memorial activities are properly arranged to ensure orderly visits. Around the Qingming Festival each year, approximately 60 organizations—including government departments, schools, enterprises, and social groups—conduct commemorative activities within the park, with about 8,000 visitors in total. On September 30th, Martyrs’ Memorial Day, the municipal Party committee, city government, and over 1,000 representatives from the Party, government, military, and public gather at Great Wall Park (the Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery) to lay wreaths and pay tribute to the martyrs. At other times, various organizations also visit the park to hold activities such as oath-taking ceremonies, historical reviews, and patriotic education sessions, with a total of around 1,000 participants annually. By visiting the martyrs and learning about their heroic deeds, future generations come to understand that revolutionary victory and the achievements of construction were hard-won, the result of persistent struggle by several generations, thus inspiring people to strive for progress and contribute to socialist development.
