Location: Dongzhu Mountain (now known as Gutanyuan) in Dongzhu Village, Chian Town. Zhu Danxi (1281–1358), courtesy name Zhenheng, literary name Yanshou, was a native of Yiwu. He authored works such as "Elaborations on Prescriptions of the Bureau of People's Welfare Pharmacies", "Additional Remarks on Investigating Things", and "Discussions on the Treatise on Cold Damage Disorders". He established the Yin-nourishing theory in medical thought and is ranked among the "Four Great Masters of the Jin and Yuan Dynasties" alongside Liu Wansu, Zhang Congzheng, and Li Dongyuan, holding an important place in the history of Chinese medicine. The original tomb was a joint burial site for Zhu, his wife, and eldest son. The tomb was first built in the 18th year of the Zhi Zheng era of the Yuan Dynasty (1358), and was renovated in the 13th year of the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty (1748) and again in 1946. It was damaged in the 1960s. The current tomb was rebuilt in 1982, featuring a circular mound with a stone base. In front of the tomb stands a stele inscribed with “Tomb of Zhu Danxi, Renowned Physician of the Yuan Dynasty”, providing an introduction to Zhu’s life.
