Yiyuan Garden is a cultural relics protection unit of Jinhua City.

Yiyuan Garden in Yiwu is located within Xiaozici Park on North Chengzhong Road, Choucheng Subdistrict, Yiwu City. It dates back to 1932 and is categorized as a modern-era important historical site and representative building.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in March 1995, with the announcement document number being Yizheng [1995] No. 64, dated 1995.03.24.

Protected area: The existing structures of Yiyuan Garden, including the main hall, wing rooms, and surrounding walls.

Construction control zone: An area within 20 meters outside the existing structures of Yiyuan Garden is designated as a construction control zone.

Choucheng Subdistrict: Choucheng has a long history. As early as the 25th year of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (222 BC), it served as the seat of Wushang County. In the 4th year of the Wude era of Emperor Gaozu of Tang (621 AD), Chouzhou was established, from which the name Choucheng is derived. In 1950, the People’s Government of Choucheng Town was established, under the jurisdiction of Chengyang District Office; in 1961, the Choucheng Town People’s Commune was formed, also under the Chengyang District Office; in July 1983, the Chengyang District Office and the People’s Government of Choucheng Town were merged, operating under one leadership with two names; in August 1985, they were split again.
