The former residence of Ji Hongye is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jinhua City.

The former residence of Ji Hongye is located at Wucun at the foot of Liyushan Mountain in Chengxi Subdistrict, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Republican Era and is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative architecture.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection site in December 2011, and as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit in February 2018, with the announcement document number 2018.02.09 Yi Zheng Fa [2018] No. 9.

Ji Hongye (1912–1999), also known as Bingchen and using the alias Chen Qisu, was a male from Liyushan Village, Xiayan, Yiwu. He graduated in 1935 from the Law Department of Zhizhi University in Shanghai with a Bachelor of Laws degree, and once taught at Wuling High School in Shanghai. After the “August 13th Incident,” he returned to Yiwu and soon married Chen Cilian, the daughter of Chen Wangdao. At home, he was sociable and made friends with Communist Party members such as Yang Wenqing and Martin, as well as being closely connected with notable figures in society such as Wu Shanmin.
