The well at No. 97, Huaxi Fifth Residential Area is located next to No. 97, Huaxi Fifth Residential Area, Niansanli Subdistrict, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site in February 2018, under the announcement document No. Yizhengfa [2018] No. 14, dated February 9, 2018.

Huaxi Village: Huaxi Village is located in the northeastern part of Yiwu, at the foothills of Wuyan Mountain, which is part of the Tianmu Mountain range. It borders Wuning in Dongyang to the east, Heyetang to the northwest, and Niansanli to the southwest. The road from Niansanli to Suxi runs through the village. The village currently has 1,170 households and a population of 3,127. Regarding its legend, according to the "Yu Family Genealogy," it is said: “Because its landscape is surrounded by water, and it is rich in flowers and bamboo, it was thus named.” However, there is another version among the local people.
