The well at No. 17, Huaxi Second Area is located at No. 17, Huaxi Second Area, Niansanli Subdistrict, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is classified as an ancient structure.

It was announced as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in February 2018, with the official announcement number being Yizheng Fa [2018] No. 19, dated February 9, 2018.

Huaxi Village: Huaxi Village is located in the northeast of Yiwu, at the foothills of Wuyan Mountain, which is part of the Tianmu Mountain range. It borders Wuning in Dongyang to the east, Heyetang to the northwest, and Niansanli to the southwest, with the road from Niansanli to Suxi passing through the village. The village currently has 1,170 households and a population of 3,127. According to the "Yu Family Genealogy," the origin of its name is: “Surrounded by mountains and water, adorned with blooming flowers and lush bamboo, hence the name.” However, there is another version of the story among local people.
