The gatehouse, pond, and railings of the Yu Ancestral Hall are protected as a cultural relic site by Jinhua City.

The gatehouse, pond, and railings of the Yu Ancestral Hall are located opposite No. 60, Huaxi District 1, Niansanli Subdistrict, Yiwu City. Dating back to the 27th year of the Jiajing era in the Ming Dynasty (1548), they fall under the category of ancient architecture.

Designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site in June 2006, and as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in February 2018, with the announcement document number 2018.02.09 Yi Zheng Fa [2018] No. 9.

Huaxi Village: Located in the northeast of Yiwu, at the foot of Wuyan Mountain, an extension of the Tianmu Mountain range, Huaxi Village borders Wuning in Dongyang to the east, Heyetang to the northwest, and Niansanli to the southwest. Provincial Highway from Niansanli to Suxi runs through the village. The village currently has 1,170 households and 3,127 residents. According to the “Yu Family Genealogy,” the village got its name from the legend that “its landscape is surrounded by water, and adorned with flourishing flowers and bamboo.” However, there is another story among locals.
