Jingxiu Hall

Jingxiu Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinhua City.

Jingxiu Hall is located in Qiaoting Village, Chian Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient building.

The building faces south with a slight 10-degree eastward orientation, featuring a traditional quadrangle courtyard layout with front and rear sections and side rooms on both sides, covering an area of approximately 510 square meters. The main hall is an open-style space, with beam frameworks and decorations exhibiting the craftsmanship style of the Qianlong period. The facade features a shikumen-style gate, with smooth brick walls finished in exposed masonry. The main gate is inscribed with the characters “日新其德” (Renew Virtue Daily), while the gate pier stones and door sill bricks are adorned with carvings of traditional patterns. The left and right sides feature inscriptions such as “厚德载物” (Virtue Bears All Things) and “勤俭持家” (Diligence and Frugality in Managing the Home), reflecting traditional values. The central hall is spacious and solemn.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site in June 2006 and later recognized as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in April 2013, with the official announcement number being Yizheng Fa [2013] No. 29, dated April 24, 2013.
