Yi’an Hall

Yi’an Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinhua City.

Yi’an Hall is located in Yadian Village, Chian Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure. The hall faces east and features a two-courtyard, three-bay layout, with seven wing rooms on each side forming a quadrangle courtyard. The building covers an area of 347.8?. The entrance hall has three bays, with a second-floor corridor extending forward beneath a waist eave. The main hall also has three bays and is a ground-floor hall, while the front eaves of the side wing rooms are fitted with lattice windows. The corridor in front of the main hall is adorned with a ceiling featuring carvings of motifs such as qilins and bats. The wooden carvings throughout the building are exquisitely crafted and well-preserved. Together with Rong’an Hall, it forms part of a grand residential complex.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in April 2013, with the announcement document number being Yizheng Fa [2013] No. 29, dated April 24, 2013.
