Xulun Hall

Xulun Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinhua City.

Xulun Hall is located in Yadian Village, Chian Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

The building faces east and is arranged along a west-east axis. It consists of three sections, five bays, and features left and right corridors connecting to the central hall. Behind the entrance hall is a stage with a hip-and-gable roof, featuring upturned eaves. The stage is exquisitely crafted, with an eight-ridge caisson ceiling adorned with dragon motifs, and its eave pillars are inscribed with the couplet: “Loyalty, filial piety, virtue, and integrity serve as timeless mirrors; voices, laughter, and expressions are ever renewed.” The main hall is an open-style hall with winter melon-shaped beam supports, utilizing a five-rafter lifting beam structure with double-step front and rear columns inserted into the main posts. The beam framework is robust, and the wood carvings are exquisite. The rear section is the bedroom hall, built with a lifting beam structure. There are Taiping Pools in the left and right courtyards. A pair of flagpole stones are still preserved at the front. The entire structure is large in scale, well-preserved, and blends harmoniously with the surrounding environment, possessing significant historical, scientific, and artistic value.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in April 2013, with the announcement document number being Yizheng Fa [2013] No. 29, dated April 24, 2013.
