Damaiyuan Kiln Site

The Damaiyuan Kiln Site is a cultural relics protection unit of Jinhua City.

The Damaiyuan Kiln Site is located on Damaiyuan Mountain in Changfu Village, Shangxi Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is classified as an ancient site.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in June 2010 under the announcement number Yizheng Fa [2010] No. 52, dated June 2010.

Shangxi Town: Located in the western part of Yiwu City and bordering Jindong District of Jinhua City, Shangxi Town covers an area of 102.8 square kilometers. It governs 76 administrative villages and 2 residential committees, with a permanent population of about 50,000 and a migrant population of nearly 20,000. Shangxi Town is a traditional agricultural hub as well as an emerging industrial center. In recent years, the town has consistently adhered to a coordinated development strategy of “promoting the town through industry” and agricultural industrialization, achieving harmonious progress in both primary and secondary industries, as well as balanced urban-rural development.
