Tangxi Pujie Bridge

Tangxi Pujie Bridge is a cultural relics protection unit of Jinhua City.

Tangxi Pujie Bridge is located in Tangxi Village, Shangxi Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

In May 1987, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit, with the official announcement number Yizhengfa [1987] No. 66, dated 1987.05.11.

Cultural value: It is a two-arch stone bridge. During the Anti-Japanese War, the Eighth Brigade under the leadership of the Communist Party ambushed the Japanese forces stationed in Yiwu on this bridge and achieved victory, boosting the anti-Japanese morale of the people of Yiwu.

Protected area: The bridge itself and the three-meter approach sections at both the north and south ends.

Construction control zone: Twenty meters south of the bridge to the cemetery wall, twelve meters north of the bridge to the boundary of the allocated land, fifty meters upstream from the bridge center to the stream, and twenty-six meters downstream from the bridge center to the new bridge.

Tangxi Village: Tangxi Village is located at the center of the Yixi Industrial Park. The village has a total of 176 households, with well-connected cement roads and a concentration of migrant population. In recent years, thanks to the open and supportive policies of the Party and government for building a new countryside, the village has constructed basketball courts, fitness grounds for farmers, a comprehensive village building, small-scale village infrastructure improvements ("village five modernizations"), and standardized rural electricity upgrades. Our village serves both as the residential hub of the Yixi Industrial Zone in Shangxi Town and a prime location for industrial development and factory establishment.
