The Xixi Second Village New Hall Residence is located in Xixi Second Village, Shangxi Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient building.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site in June 2006 and as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in February 2018, with the official announcement document number Yizheng Fa [2018] No. 9, dated February 9, 2018.

Xixi Second Village: As the seat of the town government, Xixi Second Village is 15 kilometers from Yiwu International Trade City, with Provincial Road 03 passing through the village. Since the late Southern Song Dynasty, people from Liantang in Jinhua settled in Lianping Pond on the west side, originally named Yunxi. According to the "Yunxi Zhang Clan Genealogy," the area was described as “mountainous and scenic, with mist lingering over the stream known as Yunxi.” Later, because the settlement was situated along a gently flowing stream that shaped the riverbank, the name evolved from “Rangxi” (Letting Stream) to “Shangxi” (Upper Stream). Xixi has a history of one thousand years. The village is known for its simple folkways and has produced many talented individuals.
