He Dian Liushun Hall

He Dian Liushun Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinhua City.

He Dian Liushun Hall is located at No. 40, Men Ting, He Dian Village, Yiting Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient building.

Also known as Men Ting, it was constructed during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. The building faces west and is oriented at 105 degrees, situated along the street. It features a three-courtyard, three-bay layout with side rooms on both sides, structured as a two-courtyard, quadrangle-style courtyard complex, covering a total area of 1,034 square meters.

The main entrance hall has three bays and two stories, with a stone-framed gate in the central bay. The front eaves feature a rolled shed-style roof, while the rear eaves are open. The center serves as a passageway, with side bays partitioned off. The main hall consists of three open bays, with beams using winter melon-shaped beams, showcasing early architectural features such as thick beams and stout columns, with distinct characteristics of the period. The central hall building houses the main room in the center, flanked by principal rooms, and symmetrically arranged side rooms on both sides, each with ten rooms and one corridor, all constructed with post-and-lintel framing. Corridors run east-west through the structure, with side doors at both ends, inscribed with raised characters “屏岚环翠” (Screened Mist and Ringing Greenery) and “瑶岫锺灵” (Spiritual Peaks Gather Essence). The overall building is quite large in scale, with its layout largely preserved intact, and holds significant historical, artistic, and scientific value.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in April 2013, with the announcement document number being Yizheng Fa [2013] No. 29, dated April 24, 2013.

He Dian Village in Yiting Town is located to the south of Yiwu City, 13 kilometers from downtown Yiwu, situated along Wuzhou Avenue, with the Fodi Line highway passing through the village. Behind the village lies the semi-circular artificial lake of Yiwu River’s Half Moon Bay. The Dongxi water system flows from north to south through Zhengtang, Shuiduitang, and Zhongxintang in the village, then through Jiantou Lake to the Yiwu River. The village has over 400 acres of water surface and 2,012 acres of arable land.
