Eighteen Houses on Jielu Street is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinhua City.

Eighteen Houses on Jielu Street is located at No. 21, Jielu Eighteen Houses, He Dian Village, Yiting Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient building.

Constructed in the second year of the Xuantong reign (1910), the building faces west with an orientation of 105 degrees. It has two courtyards, front and rear, with six matching wing rooms on each side, making up a two-story building. It is a front-veranda style brick-and-wood quadrangle courtyard, covering an area of 532.7 square meters.

The gateway has three bays, with the central bay open and supported by five pillars and seven rafters. The front eave features a wall-type stone gate, with an inscribed bluestone plaque that reads “奠厥攸居” (Establish One’s Dwelling Here) in intaglio script, dated “Made in the winter of the 2nd year of Xuantong, Gengxu Year (1910)”. The side bays are partitioned with wooden panels. The main hall has three bays and is a ground-floor hall, supported by four pillars and seven rafters. The wing rooms feature fully paneled doors and windows with fine craftsmanship. A corridor runs east-west through the structure, with side doors at both ends.

The building uses high-quality materials, with exquisite interior decorations, featuring carvings of motifs such as lions playing with balls, phoenixes with peonies, the Immortals of Harmony and Union, and scenes from the Three Kingdoms. With an accurately recorded construction date, it holds significant historical, artistic, and scientific value.

Designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in April 2013, with the announcement document number being Yizheng Fa [2018] No. 9, dated February 9, 2018.

He Dian Village in Yiting Town is located to the south of Yiwu City, about 13 kilometers from downtown Yiwu, situated along Wuzhou Avenue, with the Fodi Line highway passing through the village.
