Cungu Hall

Cungu Hall is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jinhua City.

Cungu Hall is located at No. 255, Yawenlou Village, Yiting Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit in May 1987, under the announcement number Yizheng Fa [1987] No. 66, dated May 11, 1987.

Cultural value: It is one of the earlier preserved ancient buildings in Yiwu, with distinct era-specific features in its layout and structure.

Protected area: The overall building of Cungu Hall covers approximately 110 square meters.

Construction control zone: Extending 20 meters from the front eaves wall of Cungu Hall to the pond in front of the building. From the back wall, it extends 15 meters outward to the road, and 11 meters and 30 meters respectively to the left and right.

Yiting Town: Yiting Town is located in the southwestern part of Yiwu City and serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of western Yiwu. The Yiting town area administers four work zones — Yiting, Wangqian, Fantianzhu, and Hangchou — along with two neighborhood committees and 65 administrative villages. It has a total of over 20,000 households, a population of 52,300, and covers an area of 54 square kilometers. It is recognized as an education-strong and health-strong town in Zhejiang Province, a central and civilized town in Jinhua City, and a nationally recognized environmentally beautiful town.
