Wanhuobei Kiln Site Cluster

The Wanhuobei Kiln Site Cluster is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jinhua City.

The Wanhuobei Kiln Site Cluster is located at Wanhuobei, east end of Fanjia Village, Suxi Town, Yiwu City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty, and is classified as a kiln site.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit in May 1987, under the announcement document No. Yizhengfa [1987] 66 dated 1987.05.11.

Cultural value: a relatively well-preserved site for the production of celadon during the Yuan and Ming dynasties at the Wuzhou Kiln.

Protected area: the kiln site cluster and its surrounding accumulation layers.

Construction control zone: both the inner and outer hills of Wanhuoshanli and Wanhuowai Kilns.

Fanjia Village: Fanjia Village has a total of 13 villager groups, with 187 farming households, a population of 460, and arable land covering 347 mu. The village is crisscrossed with cement roads, and is home to a concentration of migrant workers. In recent years, thanks to the Party and government’s open and supportive policies for building new rural areas, the village has constructed basketball courts, sports facilities for farmers, and is currently building a comprehensive village building, small-scale village infrastructure upgrades, standardized rural electricity renovations, and more...
