Dumeng Academy

Dumeng Academy is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinhua City.

Dumeng Academy is located at No. 108 Shuyuan Road, Dumen Village, Dachen Town, Yiwu City. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site in June 2006 and as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in August 2011, under the announcement number Yizhengfa [2011] No. 64, dated August 27, 2011.

Dumen Village: Dumen Village is situated in the Dongtang area of Dachen Town and serves as the economic and cultural hub of the Dongtang region. The village has a total of 512 households, with 1,217 residents and over 2,000 temporary migrant residents. It is an administrative village composed of 12 villager groups. The village spans over 760 mu of arable land and more than 4,000 mu of ecologically protected forest. It is home to the municipal-level key cultural heritage sites “Dumeng Academy” and “Dongtang Martyrs' Cemetery,” as well as the Buddhist sightseeing destination—Ruifeng Temple. Over 86% of the households in the village have access to serious illness medical insurance.
