Yixing Hall

Yixing Hall is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Yixing Hall is located in Beilei Fourth Village, Fotang Town, Yiwu City, dating back to the 51st year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1786).

The building faces south and features three courtyards and three bays in both the front and rear sections. Along the central axis, it consists of an entrance hall, a main hall, and a hall tower, flanked by two side wings and two passageways. It has a total width of 27.1 meters, a total depth of 38.65 meters, and covers an area of 1,047 square meters.

On January 13, 2017, it was announced as part of the seventh batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government.

Protected area: Includes the main structure of Yixing Hall itself. Extending outward from the walls, it reaches 7 meters to the south, 9 meters to the east and west to the rear eaves walls of the side wings, and 12 meters to the north to the outer edge of the pond, covering a total area of 2,712.9 square meters.

Construction control zone: Extends 30 meters outward from the protected area on the east, south, and west sides, and 40 meters outward from the rear eaves wall of Yixing Hall on the north side, forming a closed area with a total area of 9,701.7 square meters.

Fotang Town: Located in central Zhejiang and the southern part of Yiwu City, Fotang Town is about ten kilometers from China Commodity City. It borders Dongyang City to the east, connects with Chian Town to the south, adjoins Yiting Town and Jindong District to the west, and neighbors Jiangdong and Choujiang Subdistricts to the north. Covering an area of 134.1 square kilometers, the town governs 106 administrative villages and 3 residential communities, with a permanent population of 81,000 and a migrant population of 60,000.
