China Camellia Cultural Garden

One of the main venues of the Jinhua International Camellia Festival, the China Camellia Cultural Garden is located in the southwest of the city. Originally known as Dahuangshan Park, it has been meticulously transformed from a once-desolate "Dahuangshan" into today’s eye-catching "Camellia Garden."

Spanning over 350 acres, the China Camellia Cultural Garden is a scenic destination themed around camellia culture, integrating landscapes, gardens, flowers, architecture, and exhibitions. All attractions within the garden are named after camellia varieties or poetic lines, offering profound cultural significance. The garden is divided into five scenic areas: Huafoding, Songzishan, Haheling, XueTa Mountain, and a water activity zone. It is home to tens of thousands of camellias, camellia sasanqua, and some camellia species—boasting hundreds of varieties. From the Camellia Fairy to camellia reliefs, wood carvings, and wall carvings, the presence of the "camellia" is felt everywhere.
