Jinhua Taoyuan Cave

Jinhua Taoyuan Cave is located about 200 meters northwest of Shuanglong Cave. Legend has it that Huang Duxiu attained immortality on Jinhua Mountain, and the springs and waterfalls in the cave originate from the Little Peach Blossom Spring where the legendary Huang Daxian ascended to heaven. Ancient people called it “a peach blossom spring beyond the mortal world,” hence the name Taoyuan Cave.

The cave features winding passages and consists of three chambers—the Upper, Middle, and Lower Chambers—covering an area of 3,000 square meters, with more than 400 meters of walking trails. It is divided into three main cave halls: "Dream of Immortals," "Dan Light," and "Red Pine," as well as two side caves: "Ox Nose" and "Dragon Lion." The entire cave resembles an enormous upside-down gourd. Inside, layers of stone curtains hang, stone stalagmites dangle from above, and gleaming stalactites form a spectacular array of overlapping shapes and poses. The interplay of water and stone creates a dazzling display of unusual rock formations. With over 10 scenic spots including the "Buddha’s Hand Corridor" and "Dan Light Night Illumination," the cave's dripping stone formations resemble curtains and drapes.
