Ai Qing Memorial Hall

The Ai Qing Memorial Hall is a patriotic education base.

The Ai Qing Memorial Hall is located at No. 238, Wujiang East Road, Jinhua City.

To commemorate Ai Qing, Jinhua built and opened the Ai Qing Memorial Hall in October 1998. At that time, it was the only venue in China that comprehensively displayed Ai Qing’s life, achievements, contributions, and legacy.

The new building of the Ai Qing Memorial Hall officially opened on February 26, 2015 (the eighth day of the Lunar New Year). With a total floor area of approximately 2,700 square meters, the new hall houses six exhibition rooms, one multi-functional lecture hall, as well as departments such as the Exhibition Department and the Ai Qing Materials Collection Office. It displays a large number of artifacts, photos, manuscripts, letters, and texts related to Ai Qing, vividly showcasing the highlights of his life and artistic accomplishments.

The institution has been honored with titles such as “Jinhua Advanced Patriotic Education Base” and “Jinhua Civilized Unit.” Its Party branch has been awarded the title of “Five-Star Grassroots Party Organization” by the Jinhua Municipal Party Committee Organization Department.
