Jinhua Wuxing Martyrs Memorial Park is a municipal-level patriotic education base, located at the intersection of Huan Cheng West Road and Feng Ting West Road in the northern part of the city, covering an area of 13.4 hectares. The park features the Jinhua Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, which stands 25 meters tall and is clad in white marble, exuding solemnity and reverence. The park plays a significant exemplary role in commemorating revolutionary martyrs, promoting patriotism, strengthening ideological and moral development among youth, and guiding them to establish proper "three outlooks" (worldview, outlook on life, and values). In recent years, the park has fully tapped and utilized its own resources, based in downtown Jinhua, continuously popularizing and enhancing citizens' patriotic sentiments. It actively and effectively collaborates with nearby schools' educational efforts, striving to improve the relevance and timeliness of patriotic education for young people, achieving positive results. On major holidays such as the annual "September 30 Martyrs' Public Memorial Day" and Tomb-Sweeping Festival, various sectors of society in Jinhua organize commemorative activities to honor the revolutionary martyrs. Moving forward, efforts will be made to develop Wuxing Park into a humanized, ecological, garden-style, and open patriotic education base, fully showcasing the rich cultural atmosphere, profound historical significance, and effective commemorative and educational functions of the martyrs’ memorial facilities.
