Facing west and situated eastward, the layout consists of three bays and four courtyards, with a flush-gable roof and a rectangular floor plan, covering a total area of 857 square meters. The first courtyard has a depth of nine rafters; the central bay’s beam frame features a five-rafter beam with double steps in front and back, and the front eaves’ double step is fitted with a rolled shed. The bracket sets (dougong) on the wall brackets are one-dou-six-lift, with the exception of the rear eaves’ central bay which lacks dougong, while the others all have two sets. The second courtyard has a depth of eleven rafters; the central bay’s beam frame features a five-rafter beam with double steps in front and back and includes a front corridor, with the same dougong arrangement as the first courtyard. The third courtyard has a depth of nine rafters; the central bay’s beam frame features a five-rafter beam with double steps in front and back, and the bracket sets (dougong) on the wall brackets are one-dou-six-lift, with the exception of the front eaves’ central bay which lacks dougong, while the others all have two sets. The fourth courtyard has a depth of seven rafters; the central bay’s beam frame consists of three double steps supported by four pillars, the front double step is fitted with a rolled shed, and the wall brackets on the front eaves’ side bays each have one-dou-six-lift with two sets. Three courtyards are flanked by corridors on both sides that connect the various sections.

The Teng Clan Ancestral Hall features an intact layout, balanced overall proportions, and a simple yet refined structure, making it of significant reference value for the study of the evolution of local ancestral hall architecture.
