The former residence of Fang Meisheng is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Unit.

The former residence of Fang Meisheng is located in Luodian Village, Luodian Town, Wucheng District. It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit of Jinhua in 1982. The building is a typical mid-to-late Qing Dynasty "nine-bay" tripartite courtyard structure. The main hall is a double-eaved two-story house, three bays in both width and depth. The lower level features moon beams, with brackets (dougong), ceilings, and other decorations on the front porch, including exquisitely carved flowers and figures. The upper level has a simple grass-frame structure. Flanking the main hall are three-bay wing rooms on each side, integrated with the main structure. Their lattice doors and threshold windows feature decorative patterns such as "one arrow through three codes" and "lantern brocade." The gable walls of the wings are adorned with five-ridge horse-head walls, connected by a surrounding courtyard wall. The main gate is set in the center of the courtyard wall, with a door frame constructed from fireproof bricks inlaid with raised studs. Inside and outside the courtyard wall, beneath the eaves, are ink-wash murals painted by Fang Meisheng, depicting landscapes and floral themes in the artwork titled “Four Peoples’ Prosperous Livelihood,” characterized by smooth lines and distinct layers. These murals are inscribed with the reign year Tongzhi Guihai (1863) and the signature “Meisheng.”
