Site of Dibu City

The Site of Dibu City is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Site of Dibu City is located in Gucheng Village, 5 kilometers northwest of Ancheng Town.

The ancient city has a square layout, covering an area of approximately 0.33 square kilometers. The city walls were built with rammed earth and currently stand 5–9 meters high in ruins. Artifacts found include hard pottery shards with rope patterns, mat patterns, grid patterns, and rice-sieve patterns. The cultural layer within the city is 0.2–1 meter thick. Collected items include fragments of pots and bowls, as well as gold coins—such as Yingyuan coins from the Eastern Zhou period—as well as shards of rope-patterned pottery and glazed pottery from the Qin and Han dynasties. The site remains largely well-preserved.

In 2006, the Site of Dibu City was listed by the State Council as part of the sixth group of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units as an ancient site dating from the Spring and Autumn period to the Northern and Southern Dynasties.
