China Bamboo Museum

The "China Bamboo Museum," inscribed by the renowned Chinese calligrapher Qi Gong, is currently the largest exhibition space in China dedicated to bamboo, featuring the richest collection of exhibits and the most advanced facilities. It is located within the Bamboo Species Garden in Anji County, Zhejiang Province — known as the "Bamboo Hometown of China." Covering an area of 12,000 square meters, the museum is divided into indoor and outdoor sections, with a total construction area of 3,200 square meters. Its architectural design is novel and unique, featuring a garden-style layout.

The China Bamboo Museum is one of the attractions within the Bamboo Expo Park. The museum features a complex structure divided into eight exhibition halls: the Preface Hall, History and Resources Hall, Cultivation and Utilization Hall, Literature and Art Hall, Academic Lecture Hall, Craftsmanship Collection Hall, and International Exhibition Hall. It showcases 6,000 years of bamboo history and culture in China, along with various bamboo crafts from ancient to modern times both in China and abroad, as well as a variety of bamboo shoot specimens.
