Longwang Village

Longwang Village is located in northern Zhejiang, in the southern part of Shangshu Township. To the east, it borders Jiangnan Tianchi; the scenic area is just a half-hour hike up the mountain. To the south, it connects to the 72 Peaks of the Great Han, making it a typical mountain village in the northeastern part of the Tianmu Mountain Range. It lies 80 kilometers from Hangzhou and 230 kilometers from Shanghai.

Longwang Village sits at an altitude of 130–1,115 meters and has abundant streams and water resources. Among them, Longwang Stream is an important tributary of the Xi’tiao River, with crystal-clear, sweet, unpolluted water rich in minerals. The climate is mild, cool in summer and refreshing in autumn, with an average temperature of 18°C.

Longwang Village boasts a profound cultural heritage. In addition to traditional crafts such as handmade papermaking and New Year paintings, as well as the culture of dragons and longevity, it also preserves well-preserved ancient trails, historical sites, and legends such as Huifeng Ridge and Dianjiang Stone. Today, Longwang Village is characterized by undulating mountains, lush ancient trees and bamboo groves that reach the sky, swaying bamboo shadows between the peaks, fish playing in clear pools, and a simple, harmonious, and peaceful local culture—all blending rich natural and cultural landscapes.

Currently, Longwang Village has over 30 farmhouse inns with well-developed infrastructure, capable of hosting tourists for leisure and vacation.
