Daxi Village

Daxi Village is one of the first rural tourism demonstration villages in Anji County and the county’s largest tourism hub.

This is a village centered around the Zanglong Hundred Waterfalls Scenic Area. Its main thoroughfare, S205 (also known as S13), is lined with agritainment venues and various shops, and the roadside is filled with various tourist vehicles (especially private cars). A river runs parallel to the street, home to the Daxi Rafting experience.

Daxi Village is located at the southernmost tip of Tianhuangping Town, bordering Lin’an. The village covers an area of 23.4 square kilometers, governs 11 villager groups, and has a population of 2,100. It boasts 30,099 mu of forested land, with a forest coverage rate of 92%. The ecological environment is beautiful, the mountains and rivers are picturesque, and the local customs are simple and sincere.

The area is home to the famous Tianhuangping Pumped Storage Power Station; the Jiangnan region’s largest waterfall cluster, the Zanglong Hundred Waterfalls Scenic Area; and the Jiulong Gorge–Bai Cha Valley Scenic Area, the location of China’s “White Tea Ancestor.” It is the county’s largest tourism hub, with over 150 farming households operating agritainment businesses.

Ticket Information:

No entrance fee is required for Daxi Village itself. However, tickets are needed for certain attractions within the area: Tianhuangping Pumped Storage Power Station (50 RMB), Zanglong Hundred Waterfalls (60 RMB), and Jiulong Gorge–Bai Cha Valley (40 RMB).
