Located 1 km east of Ancheng Town at Majiadu. According to the Anji County Annals of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty: “It is said to have been built during the Wu-Yue period of the Five Dynasties.” This is an octagonal, nine-story, solid brick pagoda of the pavilion style, standing 23 meters tall. Each side of the base measures 1.65 meters in width, with a Buddha niche on each face of every story. The finial consists of an inverted bowl, spire, and gourd-shaped top. During restoration in 1994, a celestial chamber from the seventh year of the Qingli era of the Northern Song Dynasty (1047) was uncovered, yielding one gold-coated Lingzhi Pagoda inscription stupa, along with various coins from the Tang to the Northern Song periods, as well as glass bottles and bronze mirrors.
