Leping Pavilion

Leping Pavilion is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anji County.

Leping Pavilion is located 500 meters south and to the west of Meixi Town, Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It dates back to the 21st year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1895) and is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

In May 1983, Leping Pavilion was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Meixi Port Area (Meixi Town): Meixi — the eastern gateway to Anji — is situated in the northeastern part of the county, on the western edge of the Hangjiahu Plain. It is a town with agriculture as its foundation, industry as its leading sector, and waterway transport as its driving force, and is one of Anji’s key towns under the “one main and three auxiliary” development strategy. The town covers a total area of 101 square kilometers, governs 25 administrative villages and 3 community residents' committees, with a total population of 55,000. Meixi enjoys convenient transportation, with the Xitiaoxi River and Provincial Highway 11, a branch of the Hangzhou–Ningbo Expressway, running through the town, allowing 500-ton vessels to reach Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou directly.
