Sanshan Temple

Sanshan Temple is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anji County.

Sanshan Temple is located in Sancheng Village, Meixi Town, Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

In September 2005, Sanshan Temple was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Meixi Port Area (Meixi Town): Meixi — the eastern gateway of Anji — is situated in the northeastern part of the county, on the western edge of the Hangjiahu Plain. It is a town driven by agriculture as its foundation, industry as its mainstay, and water transport as its leading sector, and is one of Anji’s key “one main, three auxiliary” towns targeted for development. The town covers a total area of 101 square kilometers, governs 25 administrative villages and 3 community neighborhood committees, with a total population of 55,000. Meixi enjoys convenient transportation — the Xitiaoxi River and the branch of the Hangzhou–Ningbo Expressway, Provincial Highway 11, run through the town, allowing 500-ton vessels direct access to Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou.
