Angel Town is located to the east of Anji County. The town is centered around the Hello Kitty Theme Park and the International Fairy Tale Village, and is complemented by various parent-child and family-oriented amusement facilities and themed hotels. The town comprises six major zones: the anime-themed amusement area, the fairy tale-themed amusement area, the commercial service area, the waterfront leisure resort area, the health and wellness resort area, and the smart tourism industry area.

Angel Town is a provincial-level characteristic town in Zhejiang Province and also a 4A-level scenic area. It is situated among thousands of acres of lakes and mountains to the east of Anji, surrounded by hills and boasting beautiful scenery and extremely rich natural resources. Anji is a county that has won the United Nations Habitat Award and is hailed as a “land of three purities” for its clean air, water, and soil. It falls within the one-hour living circle of Hangzhou. Currently planned to cover approximately 5,000 acres, Angel Town is an idyllic valley destination that includes the Hello Kitty Theme Park, a hotel cluster, Lanrun Angel School, a cultural and tourism commercial street, Jiangnan-style courtyard homes, and retirement apartments. It is also an all-age mixed-use community that accommodates nearly ten thousand households.

Angel Town is the first education-themed characteristic town jointly developed by Yinqian Group, Lan Cheng Group, and Greentown Group. It integrates education, retirement living, and cultural tourism. Guided by the construction philosophy of “crowdfunding, co-construction, self-governance, and sharing,” it is committed to creating a learning-oriented community where “everyone is eager to learn, enjoys learning, and shares knowledge,” and that is “all-age, all-time, and all-dimensional.” Additionally, Angel Town serves as the flagship project of Lan Cheng Academy-style Retirement 2.0.

Angel Town has already completed and put into use cultural and tourism facilities such as the Hello Kitty Park, Yinqian Castle Hotel, Yinqian Town Hotel, and Equestrian School, attracting approximately 800,000 to 1,000,000 visitors annually. Residential offerings in Angel Town include 315 Jiangnan-style small courtyards at Yanxi Lake, which have all been delivered; the Moshang Huakai Retirement Apartments, scheduled for delivery by the end of December 2020; and the Muyungu Mountain-View Courtyards, planned for delivery by the end of December 2021.
