Lotus Pond Moonlight Wetland Park, a national AA-level tourist attraction, is a provincial-level wetland park in Jiangsu Province and a science education base in Suzhou. It is located in Huangqiao Subdistrict in the hinterland of Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, at the northern foot of Tiger Hill, about 16 kilometers from the city center. The park is built upon a water town wetland ecosystem, integrating eco-tourism, leisure sightseeing, lotus culture industry, science education, and wetland conservation. It aims to become the largest urban wetland park themed around lotus flowers in China.

The park features five major functional areas planned and constructed with charming landscapes and natural layouts: the Lotus Display Garden, the Jiangnan Farmhouse Leisure Garden, the Aquatic Plant Science Garden, the Water Fun Sports Garden, and the Gourmet Flower Shopping Garden. The entire construction will be completed in two phases. Currently, Phase I has planted over 2,000 acres and introduced more than 500 varieties of lotus flowers and aquatic plants. It includes over ten distinctive projects such as the Hundred Lotuses Fragrant Garden, the Water Scenic Plant Viewing Boardwalk, the Lotus Rhyme Cultural Corridor, the Water Chestnut Boat Shadows, the Lotus Pond Fishing Center, the Lotus Tea House, the Lotus Restaurant, the Water Fun Garden, and the Lighted Night Scene. In 2009, the park successfully hosted the 23rd National Lotus Exhibition and the 2nd Jiangnan Lotus Picking Festival.
