Guide Suzhou Lotus Pond Moonlight Wetland Park is China’s largest lotus-themed park, formed by combining hundreds of abandoned fish ponds, with a total planned area of nearly 6,000 acres. Introduction Located in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, the Lotus Pond Moonlight Wetland Park currently cultivates 155 varieties of lotus plants, including lotuses and water lilies. By 2010, when the park is fully completed, it will house over 500 lotus varieties from around the world, becoming China’s lotus germplasm resource base. Upon completion, it will feature six functional areas: the Lotus Exhibition Garden, the Jiangnan Farmhouse Leisure Garden, the Aquatic Ecology Science Education Garden, the Water Sports Garden, the Food & Shopping Garden, and the Buddhist Culture Garden. Transportation It is situated south of Taiyang Road, east of Sudaixi Road, west of Suyuzhang Highway, and north of Fangli Road in Huangqiao, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou.

Buses 79, 82, and 851 stop at or pass by the area. Visitors can get off at Shengtian Station and walk about 500 meters east to reach the park. By car: From Shanghai–Nanjing Expressway → Suyuzhang Highway → Taiyang Road → Lotus Pond Moonlight Park; From West Ring Elevated Road → Yangchenghu West Road → Suyuzhang Highway Taiyang Road → Lotus Pond Moonlight Park; From East Ring Road → Xiangcheng Avenue → Taiyang Road → Lotus Pond Moonlight Park. Ticket/Opening Hours 20 RMB. Seniors aged 60 and above enjoy half-price tickets, while seniors over 70 and children under 12 enter free of charge.
