Yangcheng Lake Lotus Island is surrounded by water on all sides, shaped like a lotus flower, and embedded in the lake, hence the name “Lotus Island.” The island covers a total area of 1.64

square kilometers, and every household makes a living from crabs. It is a lakeside-based, all-in-one eco-leisure island offering food, lodging, sightseeing, entertainment, and shopping.

On the island, you can visit the Agricultural Museum, admire the windmill array, ride a water buffalo cart, experience traditional farm waterwheels, and try fishing along the lakeside wooden boardwalk. A series of Jiangnan-style rural life experiences allow visitors to forget the hustle and bustle of the city.

At the same time, taking a sightseeing boat around Yangcheng Lake lets you enjoy the scattered fishing nets on the lake, the remaining reeds along the shore, and the lotus ponds encircling the island—a breathtaking display of pristine lake scenery that is truly enchanting.
