The root art museum primarily displays exquisite root art pieces, supplemented by peculiar stones, potted plants, and antiques, creating a unique collection with strong artistic flair.

The over one hundred root art works are sourced from all regions of China, with creators striving to meet the criteria of authenticity, peculiarity, antiquity, strangeness, and uniqueness — namely: naturally grown materials, uniquely transformed shapes, trees aged over a hundred years, oddly shaped forms difficult to imitate, and considered top-quality pieces, including some that have won national gold awards.

The shapes of the peculiar stones are entirely natural, and each stone is a one-of-a-kind, rare treasure that can be encountered but not sought after. Appreciated through their “quality, form, pattern, momentum, and color,” they allow viewers to fully experience the true essence of being “peculiar, ingenious, strange, beautiful, and spiritual.”
