The Zhudian Kiln Site is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Jiangsu Province.

The Zhudian Kiln Site in Jinxi Town, Kunshan City · Located in Zhujiaidian Village, Jinxi Town, Kunshan City, within the Taihu Plain of the Yangtze River Delta, the Zhudian Kiln Site is a traditional brick kiln industrial relic from the Jiangnan region.

The Zhudian Kilns originated in the late Ming Dynasty, with the existing structures built during the Qing Dynasty and further expanded in the Republican era. To this day, over ten traditional brick kilns are preserved in concentration.

"Outstanding Examples of Rural Architecture" is a rural traditional architecture selection initiative launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China. It aims to better encourage and guide outstanding designers, artists, and other professionals to participate in rural construction, improve the quality of rural architecture, and promote the development of beautiful and livable villages.

The transformation of the Zhudian Brick Kiln was honored as the "Best Example of Recycled Building Utilization."

On June 5, 2006, the Zhudian Kiln Site was designated as part of the sixth batch of cultural heritage conservation units of Jiangsu Province.

Jinxi Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Kunshan City. Its ancient name was Jinxi, which was changed to Chenmu Village in the Southern Song Dynasty, then to Chenmu Town in the Qing Dynasty. In 1958, Dianxi Commune was established, which was renamed Chenmu Town in 1962, then Zengmao Commune in 1965, and again Chenmu Town in 1981 before being renamed Jinxi Town in 1992. Located in the southwestern part of the city, it is 23 kilometers from the urban area. Covering an area of 82.1 square kilometers with a population of 48,000, the town has multiple highways passing through. It is a typical water town, with navigable waterways.
