Fuchun Bridge

Fuchun Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Suzhou.

Commonly known as "Gaoban Bridge," Fuchun Bridge is located at the intersection of Beihou Street and Dongtang Street in Yushan Town, Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. Surrounding the bridge are Dongcailian Street, Xuxuwentang West, Beidongmen Street, and Nanbeihou Street. It spans the Dongtang River from north to south. Constructed in the 30th year of the Hongwu reign during the Ming Dynasty (1398) by County Magistrate Liang Rui, inscriptions by Zhou Chen and Kuang Zhong can be found beneath the bridge.

In the 3rd year of the Zhengtong reign (1439), Huang Yanxiu funded its reconstruction, and it was renovated again in the 4th year of the Daoguang reign. In 1997, the municipal government financed reinforcement and maintenance work on the bridge, which was then designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Kunshan City. It is a parallel-arranged bluestone arch bridge, measuring 32 meters in length, 4.5 meters in height, and 4.4 meters in width. Restored in 1997, it was announced as part of the second batch of cultural relic protection units of Kunshan City in the same year.
