Shandu Bridge

Shandu Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Suzhou City.

Shandu Bridge is located in Fuguang Village, Dianshanhu Town, Kunshan City. It was first built in the early years of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1662) and rebuilt in the 23rd year of the Jiaqing reign (1818). The bridge is made of granite and is a single-arch structure.

Dianshanhu Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Kunshan City. In 1949, it was known as Yangxiang Township; in 1954, it was upgraded to a town; in 1956, it reverted to township status; in 1958, it was renamed Diandong Commune; in 1983, it became a township again; in 1988, it was upgraded to a town; in 1993, it was renamed Dianshanhu Town. It is located in the southeastern part of the city, 23 kilometers from the city center. Covering an area of 50 square kilometers with a population of 27,000, it is accessible via multiple highways. Major waterways include Dianshan Lake, Qiandengpu, Lunipu, and Daohépu.
