The Zhang Family Residence in Putou Town is a cultural relic protection unit of Yangzhou City.

The Zhang Family Residence in Putou Town

It is a Republican-era residential complex consisting of two buildings constructed by the Zhang brothers, with a total floor area of 1,600 square meters. No. 32 faces south and has five sections from front to back. The first section is five bays wide, built with blue bricks and small tiles; the western three bays have a depth of seven rafters, while the eastern two bays serve as the gatehouse and sedan-chair hall. The second section is the main hall, three bays wide with a depth of five rafters, with a passageway on the east. The third to fifth sections are all built with blue bricks and small tiles, three bays wide with a depth of seven rafters, featuring a passageway and suite on the east.
