The Shaobo Town Grain Depot is a cultural relic protection unit of Yangzhou City.

Shaobo Town Grain Depot

Built in the 1950s. Facing east and situated to the west, it covers an area of 4,000 square meters with a building area of 2,400 square meters. The depot consists of three structures, all of brick-and-wood construction, built according to Soviet blueprints. Each building has 20 wooden pillars, four sets of A-frame wooden beams, and all connections between wooden columns and beams are secured with iron rivets. It also features 24 ventilation windows. In addition, there are four grain silos, cylindrical in shape with arched brick roofs, each equipped with a ventilation window.

Shaobo Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Jiangdu City. Established as Shaobo Town in 1949, reorganized as a commune in 1959, and reinstated as a town in 1964. Located in the northern part of the city, it is 10.5 kilometers from the municipal government. Covering an area of 55 square kilometers with a population of 54,000, the Huaijiang Highway runs through the town, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal flows from north to south.
